Description

DemandGen International, Inc., a leading marketing automation consulting and services firm, is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our North American consulting team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent strategic marketing experience, marketing analytics, client relations and have rich experience with marketing automation systems, CRM, business intelligence, along with experience in online marketing and demand generation.

As a Senior Consultant, you will have a direct impact on the success of our clients and their ability to show marketing's contribution across their organization. You will specialize in marketing measurement and analytics to assist our clients in defining key metrics and reports to enable our clients to measure marketing effectiveness, lead management performance, and revenue contribution from marketing programs.

The Senior Consultant will also be responsible for identifying new business development initiatives among key accounts and enhancing DemandGen's consulting services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the implementation of process and systems within our clients to enable them to track, measure, and monitor campaign results tied to marketing programs
  • Delivering consulting services around marketing measurement and analytics for corporate and enterprise clients including the following:
    - Helping our clients establish key metrics for measuring marketing effectiveness
    - Helping our clients create models for measuring lead management performance
    - Helping our clients to create reports and dashboards for tracking and reporting on marketing's contribution to revenue from marketing programs
  • Assist our clients with establishing a campaign hierarchy for structured reporting and measurement between the marketing automation system, CRM, and Business Intelligence systems
  • Recommend methodologies for tracking individual campaigns, tactics, across lead sources and channels
  • Work with our internal professional services team to identify opportunities within our existing clients where consulting services should be performed
  • Working with the business development team to define SOWs for scoping and delivering services to clients
  • Enhancing DemandGen's consulting services by helping to define ongoing consulting services strategy, programs, deliverables, and tools for working with clients
  • Helping with the development and enhancements to curriculum used by the consulting team for performing our consulting services including:
    - Discovery and assessment tools
    - Presentations to position and explain our services as well as presentations to use during workshops and client business reviews
    - Requirements gathering tools and workbooks
    - Establishing Reports and Dashboards for presenting marketing's contributions
    - Client output documents to support our consulting practice
  • Keeping current and leveraging 3rd party research, content, and incorporate to provide benchmarks and thought leadership expertise

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with marketing automation and CRM systems
  • 8 + years of senior marketing experience, preferably companies doing greater than $100M in annual revenue
  • Proven ability to improve relationships and performance between the sales and marketing functions
  • Executive presence with ability to lead interactive sessions with a global audience of senior decision makers from sales and marketing
  • Ability to track marketing programs to results (revenue impact)
  • Significant experience with campaign design and execution with measurable results
  • Demonstrated proficiency in demand generation strategy and tactics
  • Experience with multiple channels of demand generation, including, but not limited to email, website, direct mail, telemarketing, events, and social
  • Experience with database management functions, including business intelligence reporting, segmentation, and data hygiene
  • Solid communication skills – both written and oral
  • Approximately 20-30% travel, on-site client engagements required
  • University/College degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience
